Indi Maintenance Services is a family-run company based in Durbanville, registered in 2012 and run by Andre Smit. We are a Registered Asbestos Contractor (Type 2) and remove asbestos roofs, ceilings, gutters and downpipes across greater Cape Town, then fit the new roof or ceiling.

What we do, and what we don't
Our Type 2 registration covers removing asbestos cement products and asbestos insulating board, and repairing or encapsulating asbestos cement without surface preparation. We don't do pipe lagging, sprayed coatings or other loose asbestos. If we find any, we'll tell you and refer you to a contractor registered for that work.
We also handle general roof work, such as repairs, gutters and roof painting. On an asbestos roof, painting is always done without cleaning, scraping or any other surface preparation.
